Whole muscle chicken is just what it sounds like–a whole, complete piece of meat taken directly from the breast, tenderloin, or thigh, which preserves texture and quality. Whole muscle chicken jerky is chewier and comes in more varied shapes and textures.
Vegetable glycerin is a non-toxic FDA-approved additive that works as a humectant. It attracts and retains moisture, preventing mold from growing on treats and preserving freshness and flavor.
Yes! Waggin’ Train Chicken Jerky Tenders contain only two ingredients–whole muscle chicken meat and vegetable glycerin–and are safe for dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. Because each jerky tender is a large and high-protein treat, puppies and small dogs benefit from having the strips broken into small pieces.
Raw chicken breast is sliced and dried evenly for 16 to 18 hours, then cooled before undergoing quality control checks. Once the treats are cleared, we weigh and pack them in sealed bags, and ship them out for your dog to enjoy.

Waggin’ Train Chicken Jerky Tenders contain just two ingredients: whole muscle chicken breast and vegetable glycerin. We don’t contain any filler ingredients, just what’s needed to keep our jerky treats fresh and tasty.
Store Waggin’ Train jerky treats in a cool, dry place. No need to refrigerate or freeze unopened bags–the pantry is fine! Opened bags can be placed in an airtight container to preserve freshness.
Treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog’s daily diet. (If you give a little more than that, we won’t tell.) Waggin’ Train Chicken Jerky Tenders brighten your dog’s day, but they do not replace their meals.
